Introduction

Moral philosophy is full of ambiguous terminology that can seem pointless to an outsider. In this set of sketches I cover 3 concepts communicated using emoticons.

Utilitarianism

Different sized emoticons on a scale, it shows that there is balance so long as the amount of positive is equal to the amount of negative. Text: Maximise Good (Oh... and minimise bad too)

The Categorical Imperative

An emoticon has money fall out of their pocket - another one wonders what that person would do if the roles were reversed. Text: What if your actions became universal law?

Moral Realism

A hungry looking emoticon stares at a loaf of bred in a bakery - later the bakery windows is cracked open and the bread is gone. Text: "Moral claims are true, while they are true"
